SiMS recently implemented its new Scan, Verify, and Pack quality assurance software in the Evan-Moor Distribution center in Monterey California. The result has been a dramatic reduction in shipping errors with little or no negative impact on packing productivity.
The Scan, Verify, Pack or SVP system provides 100% auditing of outbound shipments by adding convenient hands free scanning technology at the packing stations. The result is a supermarket style environment that allows Evan-Moor to check item, price, and quantity information as the outbound shipping cartons are being packed. As information is collected, carton manifest labels are produced that identify contents, last carton in the order, and total number cartons shipped.
SiMS Scan, Verify, and Pack, developed in partnership with Kompass Consulting of Mountain View CA, is easy to implement, requiring a simple flat file interface with the existing order processing system. SVP easily integrates with any order management system and is ideally suited for operations with bar-coded Sku's or item numbers. If you would like to have:
