handheld, notebook, and tablet mobile computers manufactured by Glacier Computer of Amherst, New Hampshire. With this alliance, SiMS adds still another dimension to its suite of engineering services and state of the art products. These computers are tough yet versatile, using standard PC architecture, multiple standard I/O, and industry standard wired and wireless connectivity. All computers are also RFID ready. They offer a wide range of accessories, including handhelds, tablets, laptops and bar code scanners. Glacier devices will stand up to water/dust, heat/cold, and shock/vibration to offer reliable use with minimal downtime. All Glacier devices compare favorably with similar units offered by Symbol and Intermec, meet or exceed their specifications for aggressive environments, and are very competitively priced.
